Stirring It Up Inc. Policies & Refunds

At Stirring It Up Inc., we are committed to delivering inclusive, educational, and fun culinary experiences. To ensure clarity and fairness, the following policies apply to all bookings, events, and classes.

1. Booking & Payment

  • Bookings are confirmed once payment has been processed.
  • All pricing is listed in Canadian dollars and includes applicable taxes unless otherwise noted.

2. Refunds & Cancellations

  • All bookings are final. No refunds or cancellations will be issued once a booking is confirmed.
  • Bookings may be transferred to another person for the same date and class, provided we receive notice at least 24 hours in advance.
  • If Stirring It Up Inc. must cancel or reschedule a class/event, you may choose between a full refund or transferring to a new date.
  • For corporate or private events, cancellation terms will be specified in the event contract.

3. Late Arrivals

  • Classes begin promptly at the scheduled time.
  • Guests arriving late may not be accommodated, and refunds or credits will not be issued.

4. Allergies & Dietary Needs

  • Guests must disclose any allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of booking.
  • While we make every effort to accommodate, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Participation is at your own risk.

5. Code of Conduct

  • Guests are expected to treat instructors, staff, and fellow participants respectfully.
  • Stirring It Up Inc. reserves the right to refuse service or remove any participant engaging in disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behaviour.

6. Alcohol Service

  • Guests consuming alcohol must be 18 years or older and present valid government-issued ID.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone appearing intoxicated.
  • Alcohol consumption is voluntary, and guests accept full responsibility for their choices and behaviour.
  • Safe transportation is encouraged. Stirring It Up Inc. is not liable for actions taken by guests after leaving the event.

7. Media & Photography

  • By attending an event, you consent to the use of photos and videos taken during the event for marketing and promotional purposes.
  • Parents/guardians must consent for minors.
  • Guests may opt out of photography by notifying staff at check-in.

8. Assumption of Risk

  • Participation in cooking classes involves risks including but not limited to burns, cuts, slips, and allergic reactions.
  • By attending, you voluntarily assume these risks and release Stirring It Up Inc. from liability except in cases of gross negligence.
